YUVA Responses to Nepal Earthquake

YUVA Responses to Nepal Earthquake

A deadly earthquake has devastated children and families in Nepal. In response, YUVA has launched a disaster response during this difficult time. This is the worst earthquake in Nepal in the last 81 years.

YUVA has been able to establish contact with Nepal. We need your generous gift to support our efforts. Your support will help us protect vulnerable children and provide desperately needed relief to families. 10% percent of your contribution will be used to help us prepare for the next emergency. Nobody knows when the next crisis will strike, but your support helps YUVA provide assistance in the critical first hours and days of an emergency when children need us most.

The survivors of the Nepal earthquake need disaster relief and emergency aid. Please donate to the Nepal earthquake relief effort.

  1. Ideal Society Nepal (ISN) is an independent, nonprofit making community based organization formed by community members of various background with a view to train, motivate and assist the vulnerable youth of back ward communities of Nepal to building their capacities on physical, mental, moral qualities and skills for employment. And raising awareness for basic healthcare, safety and security, mutual respects, unity and environment protection. ISN is an accredited social organization and affiliated with the National Social Welfare Council Office of Nepal. It is established in 17th Oct, 2012 in Kirtipur municipality, Ward No. 8, Kathmandu, Nepal. The organization has been working on these sectors in an effective and efficient manner since its inception.

ISN has rescued many people who were buried at the time of recent devastated earthquake in Nepal. It mobilized its members and volunteers effectively around its area. Unfortunately we couldn’t save the life of two people due to the lack of equipment and manpower. Now, the organization is doing relief works for the victims with the resources that we have. If you like to work with us in partnership either in relief phase or resettlement phase, you are welcome.
