The YUVA Entrepreneurship Programme (YEP) operates with the belief that entrepreneurship and business skills are teachable and learnable. This is why we have devised a 4-week free programme to equip startups with the basic skills required to launch and run their businesses at the early stage of their growth. In close collaboration with Safe Sha Training Centre, YUVA brings together the best tools and frameworks to teach and hone entrepreneurship skills in Mauritius.

The end outcome being strong viable businesses, which go on to create new jobs, more new revenue and ultimately enlarge Mauritius’ private business sector.

Agenda & Planning.

The programme will be delivered face-to-face by qualified mentors on every Sunday from 9:00 AM to noon, for four weeks, at YUVA Training Centre (Port Louis). It will cover the following modules:

  1. Why become an entrepreneur
  2. Roles of an entrepreneur
  3. Entrepreneurship framework
  4. How to draft a business plan
  5. How to grow/ finance your own business
  6. Social entrepreneurship and social innovation
  7. Tools to market your business

BATCH 1: Sunday, 30 July to Sunday, 27 August
BATCH 2: Sunday, 3 September to Sunday, 1 October
BATCH 3: Sunday, 8 October to Sunday, 5 November
BATCH 4: Sunday, 12 November to Sunday, 10 December

Award to Participants.

YUVA Entrepreneurship ProgrammeAt the end of the year, an award-giving ceremony will be organised where all the participants will be awarded a Certificate of Participation.

Remember: After completing the four-week programme, there will be a follow-up by YUVA with every participant.
