The trophy is visible. The work behind it usually is not.
Every recognition associated with YUVA represents the contribution of many people: volunteers who gave their time, staff who organised programmes, donors and partners who made projects possible, and communities that placed their trust in us.
Awards are therefore not treated simply as institutional achievements. They are markers of collective effort and reminders of the standards we are expected to maintain.

Special Consultative Status with the United Nations ECOSOC.
In 2019, the United Nations Economic and Social Council granted YUVA Special Consultative Status following the recommendation of the Committee on Non-Governmental Organisations.
The status enables recognised organisations to participate in a range of ECOSOC and United Nations processes in accordance with the applicable arrangements for organisations in consultative status.
Awards are outcomes of people, partnerships and persistence.
