On February 17, 2025, YUVA Mauritius attended a significant workshop on Keeping Children Safe Online from Harmful Web Content at the Hennessy Hotel. The event was organised by the Ministry of Information Technology, Communication and Innovation in collaboration with the Computer Emergency Response Team of Mauritius (CERT-MU).
The workshop brought together key stakeholders to discuss measures to protect children from online threats and ensure a safer digital environment.

The workshop was graced by the Honourable Minister of Information Technology, Communication and Innovation, Mr. Avinash Ramtohul, along with Dr. Kaleem Ahmed Usmani, who provided valuable insights into the various risks children face online and the strategies to mitigate them.
