The average unemployment rate for women in Africa is 9.94%. This is according to the 2019 study by the World Bank. It was based on 52 countries, with South Africa having the largest rate and Niger the lowest.

Moyo, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Republic of Zimbabwe, to the Launch of the SEOM to the 2019 National Assembly Elections of the Republic of Mauritius, at the Caudan Arts Centre, Port Louis.
The SADC delegates comprised of the Honourable Lt. Gen (retired) Dr Sibusiso Moyo, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Head of the SEOM to the Republic of Mauritius; the Senator Amb. Simon K. Moyo, Alternate Head of the SEOM to the Republic of Mauritius; the Electoral Commissioner and Members of the Electoral Supervisory Commission; Heads of the International Electoral Observation Missions; Heads and Representatives of the Diplomatic Missions accredited to the Republic of Mauritius; Members of the SADC Electoral Advisory Council as well as SADC Election Observers.
