School of Robotics

YUVA Academy‘s School of Robotics is the pioneering entity promoting STEM education through Robotics in Mauritius and the rest of Africa. STEM is an abbreviation for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. STEM is an interdisciplinary approach to learning where academic concepts are coupled with real-world lessons. Students apply science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in contexts that connect the classroom and the world around them.

STEM is a curriculum that teaches students in four specific disciplines—science, technology, engineering, and mathematics—using an interdisciplinary and applied approach. Rather than teaching the four disciplines as separate and discrete subjects, STEM integrates them into a cohesive learning paradigm based on real-world applications.

Robotics Training in Mauritius

YUVA’s STEM education initiative aims to inspire science and technology leadership and innovation in young people from Mauritius, increase understanding, emphasize the importance of cooperation, address the world’s most pressing issues, and improve the quality of life for all. This mission is accomplished through robotics training.

By showing the youth of Mauritius that if they learn how to communicate, cooperate, and work together using the tools of science and engineering to find solutions to the world’s grand challenges—water, energy, security, medicine, food, and education—they will learn how to work with each other, trust each other, and become part of a truly global community.
