Panama City, here we come! The Mauritius Robotics Team is excited to announce its ongoing preparation for the prestigious FIRST Global Challenge 2025, which will be held in Panama from 29 October to 1 November 2025.

Now six weeks into their build and strategy season, the team is operating with high energy, a clear plan, and well-defined roles to ensure nothing short of excellence on the global stage.

The 2025 game was officially revealed recently, and the team has spent considerable time analysing the Official Game Video, decoding its every challenge and nuance. Armed with insight and innovation, the students have been working tirelessly to brainstorm, prototype, and refine their ideas.

With a robust plan of action in place and individual responsibilities assigned across strategy, engineering, coding, documentation, and community outreach, each team member knows exactly where they fit in the greater mission.

The excitement is building, especially as the team approaches the final stages of the robot design. But here’s the catch — the final robot design is under wraps for now! The Mauritius Robotics Team has chosen to keep their robot a surprise until it passes all rounds of testing and fine-tuning. This spirit of mystery only adds to the anticipation as we head toward the big event.

As the weeks progress, the team will continue pushing boundaries, testing their robot in simulated match conditions, and preparing themselves mentally and physically for the global competition.
